Tsukiji Fish Market – Tokyo
Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo is the largest seafood market in the world, famous for its early morning tuna auctions. The market deals with around 2000 tons of fish and seafood daily, and the variety and quality of the produce is simply astounding.
The inner market opens very early in the morning and deals only with fish and seafood. The outer area has grocery stores, kitchen/cooking essential stores, traditional snack/sweet stores and restaurants.
The sushi restaurants around here are the highlight of any visit to Tsukiji. Enjoying the freshest sushi and sashimi for breakfast or lunch is a must if you are around. The quality is beyond words!
It is an amazing place if you are a food lover, and if you are a photographer! I wandered around for a whole morning and ended up with many photos!
Good photos..
